Install Blockify in Chrome

Download the official Blockify file, then load it in Chrome with Developer mode. It only takes a few minutes.

How to install Blockify

STEP 1
Download the official Blockify ZIP
Click Download Blockify above and save the ZIP file somewhere you can find easily, such as your Downloads folder.
The file name is blockify-extension-v1.9.6.zip.
STEP 2
Extract the ZIP file
Open your Downloads folder and extract the ZIP. On Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All. On Mac, double-click it.
Keep the extracted Blockify folder in a place you will not delete later. Chrome uses that folder while the extension is installed.
STEP 3
Open Chrome’s Extensions page
In Chrome, type chrome://extensions into the address bar, then press Enter.
STEP 4
Turn on Developer mode
At the top-right of the Extensions page, turn on Developer mode. This shows the manual installation controls.
STEP 5
Load the extracted Blockify folder
Click Load unpacked, then choose the extracted Blockify folder. Chrome will find the extension's files inside that folder.
Do not choose the ZIP file. If Chrome says it cannot find the extension, choose the extracted Blockify folder itself rather than the ZIP.
STEP 6
Pin Blockify (optional)
Blockify should now appear on the Extensions page. To keep it visible in your toolbar, click Chrome's puzzle icon and pin Blockify.
You're ready to browse with Blockify again.
